My work has been featured across podcasts, publications, and video platforms, but my true passion lives in the one-on-one moments – supporting people through the challenges of dating, understanding their patterns, and guiding them toward the kind of connection that feels aligned and life-changing.

 

As a queer woman, I know how tough the dating landscape can be – so I dedicated my career to making it easier. Whether through Speed Dating Events, Full-Service Matchmaking, Training Programs, or Personalized Dating Coaching, my mission is simple – help you find someone who makes your heart flutter and your life fuller!

As Little Gay Book’s Operations Manager, I’ve built my career around creating the kind of structure and support that helps real connection flourish. I love being the person who quietly makes sure everything flows – so our matchmakers can be fully present, and our clients can feel safe, seen, and genuinely cared for throughout their journey.

I’ve spent more than 25 years in operations, and while my career started in the professional beauty industry, the heart of my work has always been the same – helping people feel supported. At Little Gay Book, my main responsibility is to oversee recruiting and training our matchmakers – something that’s helped me develop the skills to nurture a thoughtful, reliable, and deeply compassionate matchmaking experience for every client who works with us.

Outside of work, I’m a proud dance mom and dedicated CrossFit coach, roles that remind me daily why I love what I do – helping people grow, connect, and feel fully themselves.

I believe matchmaking begins with deep compassion and genuine curiosity about who you are at your core – and for over a decade, I’ve devoted myself to that style of love coaching. My work is rooted in your values, your experiences, and the stories that shape how you love. Understanding you on that deeper level helps me create thoughtful, personalized matchmaking experiences.

In my coaching, I focus on helping you return to yourself. I believe self-love is the foundation of any meaningful relationship, and I support you in building confidence, strengthening communication, and shifting the beliefs that may be holding you back. Watching someone open up to love – both with others and with themselves – is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I’m passionate about helping people build relationships that feel clear, grounded, and true to who they are. As an ICF-certified professional coach and former matchmaker with nearly a decade of experience, I support clients with practical tools, honest reflection, and steady guidance so they can date with confidence and self-trust. I believe there’s no single path to love and proudly work with clients across diverse identities and relationship styles.

 

My coaching style blends structure with genuine curiosity and emotional awareness. I help clients notice patterns, communicate with intention, and stay connected to their needs while navigating introductions and the natural ups and downs of dating. I’m the founder of The Love Story Lab and live in Chicago with my wife and our two dogs, Ripley and Marcel.

Camille here! I’m a Houston native – with more than 15 years of experience in relationship-building and matchmaking – who’s always been passionate about helping people find and nurture healthy, loving partnerships. I lead with intuition, empathy, and a genuine love for getting to know people – qualities that allow me to connect deeply with you and support your search for the kind of relationship that truly fits who you are.

In addition to my matchmaking work, I’m a Certified Life Coach with a long history in the fitness industry – from personal training at Bally Total Fitness to serving as a general manager at UFC. Those experiences strengthened my understanding of growth, resilience, and the inner work that often shapes lasting relationships.

Outside of work, I’m a devoted mom, an animal lover active in rescue groups, and an enthusiastic equestrian and pianist. All these parts of my life inform the way I show up for you – with presence, warmth, and a sincere commitment to helping you find love and fulfillment.

My background in managing and optimizing digital dating solutions allows me to support you with tools that genuinely work – especially within the Queer community, whose needs and aspirations I care deeply about and understand well.

I take a strategic and compassionate approach to matchmaking, making sure every interaction has purpose and helps move you toward connections that last. More than anything, I love supporting people in showing up confidently – both online and in person.

My goal is always the same – to make every part of the dating experience feel intuitive, affirming, and aligned with who you are. It would be my privilege to guide you toward genuine connection in a way that feels both modern and deeply personal.

My decade of matchmaking has been shaped by a deep love for the Jewish and LGBTQ+ people I serve. Based in Philadelphia, I lead the Jewish community at Little Gay Book with Dr. Frankie to bring a culturally competent, deeply affirming lens to the experience of being both Jewish and queer – and I’ve had the joy of helping more than 50 couples find lasting, committed partnerships.

Before joining the team, I founded the first matchmaking program at the nonprofit Tribe 12, blending millennia of Jewish matchmaking traditions with modern dating realities. My work centers on honoring old-world wisdom while approaching relationships with inclusivity, emotional intelligence, and authenticity.

I hold an M.A. in Jewish Studies from Gratz College, with a thesis on the evolution of matchmaking in Jewish history. I’m also trained in Nonviolent Communication, the Harvard Negotiation Project’s mediation model, and certified through YentaNet’s Matchmaker Institute and Aleeza Ben Shalom’s Matchmaker Academy.

I believe “everything is matchmaking” – building community, easing loneliness, and helping people connect all serve the same meaningful purpose.

Hi there, I’m Tess – matchmaker with Little Gay Book who joined the team after nearly half a decade of professional experience (and a lifetime of happily matching my friends!) I approach every client with nuance and compassion, taking time to see the whole person. I truly believe everyone deserves a relationship where they’re fully seen, valued, and recognized for who they are.

I’ve worked with people from all walks of life – including disabled clients, polyamorous clients, trans clients, and others across a wide range of political and religious backgrounds. I meet you as the unique individual you are, without assumptions or judgment. As a lesbian myself, I bring a personal touch to my work with the queer community and deeply understand the kinds of connection we’re often searching for.

I hold a BA in Religion, Gender, and Holistic Wellness, along with certifications in Postpartum Birthwork and Software Engineering. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me pole dancing, reading for my lesbian book club, traveling, writing music, or practicing Spanish!

I’m a romantic at heart, and I care deeply about helping people spark meaningful connections and feel more confident as they navigate the dating world. With years of experience as a matchmaker, I’m committed to creating an exceptional experience for every client – fully invested in your journey and honored to support your search for lasting love.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, and outside of work you can usually find me reading Victorian-era novels, taking fitness classes, painting, going to concerts, traveling, camping, or spending time with close friends.

My path to matchmaking has been an unexpected blend of creativity, coaching, and intuition – and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Before matchmaking, I spent 15 years as an artist in the animation industry, learning to see the world through many perspectives. That creative journey eventually led me to found Karma Baker, a vegan, gluten-free bakery where I learned how to create harmony from distinct elements. All of it shapes the way I understand people today.

Meditation and personal growth have been lifelong anchors for me, sharpening the empathy and intuition I rely on. In 2013, I earned my coaching certification from the Newfield Network, giving me a powerful framework for helping you navigate relationships with clarity and intention.

What I love most is weaving together everything I’ve learned – creativity, coaching, intuition, and deep listening – to truly understand you. I often recognize someone’s desires and patterns before they see them themselves, and that insight helps me match and support singles with compassion, precision, and heart.

Lovely to meet you! I’m Jolene. I’ve spent the last 18 years helping singles date with more clarity, confidence, and connection. Over the course of interviewing and coaching more than 20,000 people, I’ve developed a deep understanding of dating patterns, emotional needs, and the subtle dynamics that help relationships begin with intention.

I’m often told that I see people more clearly than they see themselves – and I bring that empathy and insight into every match I make. I have a unique passion for creating dates that feel meaningful and even a little magical. My goal is always to design experiences that invite intimacy, authenticity, and real emotional resonance. Nothing lights me up more than watching someone step into a connection that feels aligned with who they truly are.

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and have specialized training in pre-marital counseling and domestic violence counseling. That background allows me to support you with care, emotional intelligence, and a grounded sense of safety as you navigate the dating world. Sara Jane here – the creative force behind Little Gay Book’s speed dating events and mixers (according to Dr. Frankie!) I pour my heart into producing every detail that makes these experiences magical, creating warm, welcoming spaces where queer folks can relax, have fun, and make meaningful connections. Whether I’m sparking conversation with engaging questions or sharing insights I’ve gathered over the years, my goal is to help you leave feeling uplifted, seen, and inspired.

Building beautiful community spaces for the Queer Community has been a lifelong mission of mine. Before joining Little Gay Book, I produced events for Curve Magazine, the Frameline Film Festival, Sweet Travel, and the Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders. Those experiences shaped my approach – meticulous organization, thoughtful curation, and a vibrant presence that invites people in.

I live on an urban homestead in the San Francisco Bay Area with my wonderful wife and our adorable daughter. When I’m not bringing people together, you’ll find me adventuring with my family and bringing my playful spirit into everything I do.

Behind the scenes at Little Gay Book, I’m the one weaving together the digital pieces that help our work shine! With more than ten years experience of social media, WordPress and digital marketing – I love finding smart, strategic ways to elevate our work and make sure every project reflects the heart of what we do.

 

Outside of the digital world, I treasure spending time with my three children. I’m also a big fan of self-help books and Korean dramas – both give me inspiration, comfort, and plenty of new perspectives.

I enjoy blending creativity with practical skills – whether I’m supporting our team on the ground at events or managing engaging social media content. When I’m not working, I find joy in traveling, trying new recipes, and spending time with family and friends. I’m also a huge fan of live music and will never pass up the chance to see a great concert!

I’m based in the Philippines and bring creativity, heart, and care into everything I do. When I’m not working, you’ll find me exploring new places, saying yes to adventures, immersing myself in different cultures, or enjoying cozy cuddles with my dogs!

Meet Metuka, the fluffiest and most irresistible member of the Little Gay Book team. Don’t be fooled by her adorable exterior – she takes her job very seriously! As our in-house love ambassador, Metuka brings people together with her charm, wit, and uncanny instinct for romance.

Armed with her “PhD in Cuddle-ology” and certified expertise in “Pawsitive Vibes”, she’s far more than Dr. Frankie’s sidekick – she’s the heartbeat of our matchmaking magic. Whether she’s breaking the ice with playful antics or offering a comforting paw, Metuka knows better than anyone that love is a four-legged word.

Behind those soulful eyes and beneath all that fluff is a skilled wing-dog with a remarkable ability to sniff out the perfect match. Time and again, she proves that some of the best connections begin with a little fur-love.

And when she’s off duty? You’ll find her sunbathing, dreaming of snack heists (our little secret!), and plotting new ways to spread joy wherever she goes.

I’m Ricki, your Bay Area host based in San Jose. I’m a longtime Realtor and passionate dancer – you’ll find me on the floor doing everything from line dancing to leading salsa at Congresses. I’m also a proud dog mom to two pups who keep me grounded through all of life’s ups and downs, dating included!

I love to cook, laugh, dive into meaningful conversations, and learn something new whenever I can. I’m bicultural and bilingual in Spanish, and I visit Mexico often. With my passport freshly renewed, I’m excited to see more of South America and Europe – and maybe catch a few feelings along the way.

Hosting events for Little Gay Book is one of my favorite ways to bring people together. Alongside my work as CEO of Small & Mighty Marketing, I get to blend creativity, connection, and community. Whether I’m leading a mixer or shaping our online experiences – I love creating spaces that feel warm, memorable, and full of possibility.

When I’m not hosting, you’ll find me biking, practicing aerial arts, thrifting, sipping coffee, or hanging out with my dogs. Somewhere along the way, while helping others find love, I ended up finding my own! With a playful spirit and genuine love for people, I pour my heart into every event and look forward to welcoming you soon.

As a Los Angeles event host and radio personality, I love creating spaces where people can show up, connect, and feel fully themselves. My work in radio (including being named Best Local Radio Personality in 2023!) has shaped my hosting style – energetic, adventurous, and always rooted in genuine connection.

Outside of events, you’ll usually find me outdoors, exploring something new, or diving into a creative project. That love for adventure is part of me – and it’s what makes hosting such a joy.
